I made this tonight for the first time. Kids liked that it had a mild flavor. I added extra curry and turmeric for me.

Look forward to making it again. 11 year old asked for seconds

So sorry but this was so bland. All you could taste was curry powder. Left us really deflated. Added tomato paste. Better.

  • Very bland tasting curry and to add the sour cream...

    Submitted by samalee on 11. June 2017 - 19:05.

Very bland tasting curry and to add the sour cream split due to the lemon juice and heat of the curry when you add it. It could work well if this doesn't happen but it's a very basic dish and wasted when the full thing was taken over by the split sour cream.

    Submitted by Watz_cooking on 20. July 2014 - 14:49.

Loved this.  I used a Breyani special masala curry paste instead of the curry powder and omitted the curry flakes.  Was very tasty and perfect consistency.  Will be a regular go to recipe.

    Submitted by akwan on 1. July 2013 - 09:19.

This was delicious. Next time (which will be very soon) I will try 500g potato and 500g cauliflower instead of the full 1kg potatoes. But its fantastic the way it is too.
