  • 4 cloves garlic, Peeled
  • 1 onion, Peeled and quartered
  • 1 Capsicum, Roughly chopped
  • 25 g olive oil
  • 1.5-2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1.5-2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1.5-2 teaspoons turmeric
  • 1 teaspoons curry powder
  • 350 g potato, Peeled and diced
  • 250 g carrot, Peeled and diced
  • 1.5 teaspoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 350-380g can coconut cream
  • 400g can Chickpeas, Rinsed and drained

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place garlic in bowl. Chop for 3 seconds on speed 7. Scrape sides.
  2. Add onion and capsicum. Chop for 3 seconds on speed 7. Scrape sides.
  3. Add oil. Saute on varoma for 5 mins, speed 1.
  4. Add dry spices, potato, carrot and sugar. Cook on varoma for 5 minutes Counter-clockwise operationGentle stir setting with lid off.
  5. Scrape bottom. Add soy sauce and coconut cream. Cook on 100 degrees for 16 minutes Counter-clockwise operationGentle stir setting with lid off. (Place simmer basket on top to prevent splatters).
  6. Add in chickpeas and peas, 2 minutes Counter-clockwise operationGentle stir setting. Serve with rice.
