Annie's Ezi Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

Tomato Sauce

  • 1000 grams tomatoes, quartered, (1 kilo)
  • 2 onions, large
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 170 grams raw sugar
  • 150 grams green apples, quartered
  • 1.5 tablespoon Ezi-sauce
  • 1 heaped teaspoon Himalayan salt (or rock salt)
  • pepper to taste

Recipe's preparation

    Tomato Sauce
  1. Quarter the tomatoes and chop for 10 seconds on speed 5
  2. Place chopped tomatoes in basket and strain for 30 - 60 minutes & set aside.
  3. Chop garlic, onions and ginger for 7 seconds on speed 5
  4. Put in remaining ingredients including drained tomatoes and cook for 1 hour 20 mins at 95 degrees, speed 1, using simmering basket/lid to enable steam to escape.
  5. When finished, replace simmering lid/basket with TM6 measuring cup, gradually turn to speed 8, and mix for 25 seconds.
