Place avocado, basil leaves, garlic, pine nuts and lemon juice in the mixing bowl 15 seconds / Speed 8 (scrape down and repeat if necessary)
Add water and mix 5 seconds / Speed 8 (add more water if you like a thinner consistency)
Add parmesan cheese and salt (if using) 20 seconds / / Speed 1
