Basil pesto

  • 2 cups tightly packed --- fresh basil leaves, 1 large packet or 1-2 sleeves
  • 45 g Grated Parmesan Cheese, or grate first in Thermy
  • 80 g extra virgin olive oil
  • 45 g pine nuts or cashews
  • 1 tsp dried garlic
  • 1/4 tsp salt, to taste
  • dash pepper, to taste

      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

    How to:
  1. Combine all 30secs/sp6.

    Scrape and repeat to desired consistency.

    Store in the fridge and stir gently to combine if some oil has settled on the surface.
