      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

  1. Half cherries and remove pits.
  2. Place pitted cherry halves into mixing bowl and chop 10 sec/speed 5. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula.
  3. Heat 6 min 30 sec/80°C/speed 3.5.
  4. Blend 30 sec/speed 10, getting up to speed gradually from speed 1.
  5. Set aside to cool a little.
  6. Insert butterfly. Place eggs, castor sugar and butter, along with 1/3 cup of cherry puree into the mixing bowl.
  7. Cook 8 min/80°C/speed 3.
  8. Check to see mixture has reached setting point by inserting a spoon. Mixture should coat the back of a spoon in a thick layer. If butter is not set, cook for a further 2-3 minutes, or until desired consistency is achieved.
  9. Stir in food colouring, a few drops at a time, until pink.
  10. Put into a jar, allow to cool and then refrigerate until ready to use.
