Thank you so much for such a beautiful recipe. I made this for my pregnant daugter who was told to stay away from store-bought mayonnaise. She is over the moon to be able to have Mum's potato salad that she's been craving for. I won't buy mayonnaise ever again.  tmrc_emoticons.-)

  • This has become a permanent

    Submitted by Holly P on 25. December 2014 - 18:49.

This has become a permanent feature in our house now, always in the fridge.

i now add 1T garlic powder to it before cooking, and still leave the water out so it's thick and creamy.

First mayo I've successfully ever made, so thanks! Though I did only use 3T of sugar.  May use it now as a base to make some aioli.

  • Perfect coleslaw dressing as

    Submitted by Holly P on 8. February 2014 - 19:49.

Perfect coleslaw dressing as is but I reduce the water by 100mL to get mayo/spreadable dressing. So good for lunches as the egg is cooked so far less chance of the chicken & mayo sandwich causing chaos tmrc_emoticons.)

  • Hi there   does this dressing

    Submitted by 8chelsea8 on 8. January 2014 - 16:53.

    Hi there

does this dressing thicken once it's been in the fridge?  I was hoping for a more spreadable consistency rather than pouring. Takes great though!

  • I love this recipe! Made this

Submitted by Nicole de Ruiter on 22. December 2013 - 00:26.

I love this recipe! Made this today to use in potato salad and it was great. I used apple cider vinegar as that's all I had in the pantry and it worked well. I also love that it is low fat with no oil! Thanks so much for sharing, will definitely make again!
