Coronation Chicken

  • 150 grams chicken breasts, cooked - shreded or cubed
  • 1 --- brown onion
  • 1 level tbsp curry powder, mild
  • 150 gram Greek yoghurt, or creme fraiche
  • 80 grams mayonnaise
  • 40 gram mango jam, or chuntney
  • 100 gram sultanas
  • 4 sprigs coriander, fresh

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. place onion in bowl - chop for 5 seconds - speed 5
    add oil - fry onion 5 mins/120/speed 1
    add curry powder - cook for 1 min/100/speed 2
    allow to cool for 5 mins
    add mango chutney, mayo, yoghurt and sultanas - mix for 30 secs/Counter-clockwise operation/speed 2
    add cooked chicken and chopped coriander - 30 secs/Counter-clockwise operation/speed 2
    ready to serve
