  • 240 grams pineapple juice
  • 3 tablespoons vinegar, (I used apple vinegar)

Recipe's preparation

    To prepare the sauce
  1. Place everything in the TM bowl Closed lid.

    Mix 10s/  speed 4.

Turn it on 6 minutes/ Varoma/ speed 2, MC off

Add salt or spices like chilli to your taste if desired.

Fill into a jar. Use it to make sweet & sour chicken, pork or add it to any stirred fry or as a dip for chicken nuggets.

The sauce thickens when it cools.

Tip

ADJUSTMENTS:

If the sauce is too thick, add some water or pineapple juice.

If the sauce is too thin, it either has to boil a bit longer (it should bubble for 2 minutes (that´s the time the starch needs to thicken) or if it did, add a bit more starch (dissolve in cold water or juice before adding) and boild it again.

This is great, just like the jars from the supermarket without the nasties! I only added 2 tbsp of corn flour and added a bit more sugar just cause we have a sweet tooth. Cooked on the stove and added pineapple pieces, vege, chicken and rice.

    Super easy & quick

Thanks for sharing this recipe, I would normally use a store bought jar and mid-way through cooking meat & veg stir-fry realised I didn't have any. I followed your instructions and had a super tasty sauce in no time at all (I put in a little less corn flour). Will use this recipe again for sure.
