Hot Black Sauce
- 425 g Treakle
- 1 litre Brown Vinegar
- 270 g soy sauce
- 25 g Garlic powder
- 10 g salt
- 10 g white pepper
- 1 tablespoons cayanne pepper, if you want try a half I like it hot
- 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg
- 40 g plain flour, GF works fine as well

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
1. Weight in all the ingredients using the scales, or measuring spoons into the TM Bowl.
2. 10minutes / 120' / sp3.
3. It needs to come up to the boil; so for me its add 1.30mins / 120' / sp3 and dont walk away for this last part, it needs to stop if it starts to boils over.
Wait 5-10mins and pour into a bottles or jars. (Bottles with a stopper or slow pour nozzle is ideal for this sauce.
Perfect to use on poached eggs or in place of your purchased bottle of worcestershire sauce. BBQ / meat / in mashed potato
