Macadamia Cheese - Raw

  • 1 teaspoon Probiotic
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoon nutritional yeast

    Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Blend nuts, water and probiotic 3 mins/speed 5 - until smooth

  2. Place mixture into strainer, lined with cheese cloth and place weight on top (heavy enough to gently push excess water through)

  3. Leave to culture for 24-48 hrs

  4. Once culturing is complete mix salt, nutritional yeast & lemon juice 1 min/speed3

  5. Transfer to cheese ring mould

  6. Remove from mould and place in fridge or dehydrate  at 45 degrees celcius for 24hrs to create rind
