Salsa Dip

Ingredients

1 jar(s)

Gf and Df salsa dip

  • 400 grams organic tinned tomatoes, Chopped
  • 1 Red Capscium
  • 1 red onion, Medium size
  • 1 brown onion, Medium size
  • 40 g Apple Cider Viniger, You can add Lemon or white vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons himalyan pink salt, Add to taste
  • 1-2 tablespoons organic raw sugar
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 heaped tablespoons Tomato Paste.
  • 1 teaspoon chilli flakes (optional
  • 30 g Coconut Oil, solid

Recipe's preparation

    Method:
  1. Place garlic and onion into the thermomix and chop speed 3/3secs.

     

    Add coconut oil and saute 3min/100deg/sp1

     

    Chop capsicum into cubes, set aside.

     

    Add chopped tomatos and blend for 20sec/sp8

     

    Add diced capsicum and the remaining ingrediants.

     

    Cook for 25min/Counter-clockwise operation/100deg/sp1.

     

    Enjoy..

    Very nice! doubled the recipe and I think I used 3/4tsp chilli flakes with the recipe doubled. Just a nice amount of spice.

    great flavors but mine didn't look like yours.I use fresh tomatoes. my was more of a sauce so I added more Capscium & a tin of diced tomatoes & hubby enjoyed it .. thank you from a old time cooker

    I've gotta say that I was a little disappointed with this recipe. It turned out nothing like the photo at all. Mine looks like tomato sauce with diced red capsicum in it. Hope it tastes better than it looks. Will probably use it in the lasagna that I'm cooking tomorrow.  tmrc_emoticons.(

    This recipe totally never worked for me. It came it like a lumpy soup. Dont know what I did wrong. Definitely does not look like salsa tmrc_emoticons.~  Decied will rename my version spicy mexican sauce and use it over chicken or steak
