Tip

This chutney is great on a cheese platter, with cold meats, in sandwiches or with some lemon juice and oil added for a great salad dressing. A great gift!

  • Absolutely delicous - I

    Submitted by fazes25 on 4. May 2016 - 09:30.

Absolutely delicous - I didn't have cinnamon sticks so just used 1/2tsp cinnamon. Also used 150 grms of white sugar and 200gr of raw instead on the brown as I didn't want it too dark. The mixture would have boiled over in my thermomix at Varoma so I just kept it at 110 for 40mins and than gave it a 6minute burst on Varoma and it is a really nice consistency and a wonderful flavour. I made it with peaches as that's what it is called even tho the recipes says nectarines - guess that would be nice too.

Lovely! I really enjoyed this chutney, I have been using it on meat, in toasted sandwiches, with salad... Everything! I used about 300g sugar & will cut down more next time.
