Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Cut cheese into cubes, put into bowl and grate 5sec, Sp8. Set aside.

    2. Place onion in bowl, chop 2sec, Sp7.

    3. Add butter

    4. Add spinach

    5. Saute 5min, Varoma temp, Sp1 - without MC.

    6. Add to bowl cheese, sour cream and vegetable stock paste - mix 4sec, Counter-clockwise operation, Sp4.

My favorite way to enjoy this is to transfer into a cob loaf and then bake in hot oven until bread bits crisp up. Can also be used as a warm dip with veg sticks or crackers.

For such a long time I’ve been looking for a spinach dip recipe that does not involve a revolting packet of soup mix. I also wanted one in which the frozen spinach was actually cooked (not just thawed then used). This recipe delivers on both criteria. Best of all, it’s easy and delicious. I added a clove of garlic with onion. It was a tad runny when warm but firmed up beautifully in fridge.

A massive hit with my family on Christmas Day! I used a red onion as its all I had and it was amazing. This will be my go to cob loaf dip from now on!
