      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

  1. Cook water and Tumeric

    7 mins/ 80 degrees/ speed 1.

    Add coconut oil and peppercorns

    INSERT BUTTERFLY WHISK

    1 min at Speed 3

Tip

Turmeric is a natural anti-inflammatory Use this paste in everything from smoothies to casserole. Add a teaspoon to a warm glass of milk and top with cinnamon.

    Jesstar:an update on my progress with this recipe. I cook the turmeric and 250mls water for 8 mins at 90 with the pepper. It turns out a nice paste consistency.

    I made the paste today and I agree it’s a bit runny but that’s not a problem . I added cardamom and ginger as well. Great recipe! I am enjoying my golden milk . Thanks
