      Recipe is created for
      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Combine
  1. Put all of the ingredients into thermomix bowl. Select speed 10 for 30 seconds. Cook for 10 minutes on 120C on speed 2 followed by 40 minutes on 100C on speed 2. Ensure measuring cup is in place and process for 60 seconds on speed 4-8, increasing speed gradually from speed 4 to speed 8.

Thank you for this recipe - it is absolutely delicious and makes a good amount - I think about 500mls or maybe a little more. Never buy worcestershire sauce now.

I love this recipe! To save myself from buying extra ingredients that we don't often use, I use golden syrup instead of treacle, & any jam instead of the plum. So beautiful. Thanks for creating this x

  • I make mine to recipe and love it and so does...

    Submitted by mitzzzie on 31. August 2020 - 13:43.

I make mine to recipe and love it and so does everyone I have give a botlle tmrc_emoticons.) I have kept mine on shelf for months so far and its kept well. I make up 2 batches at a time.. I always strain before bottling which eliminates lots of the residue. In store bought worcestershire sauce there is always a little residue at bottom of bottle. Make sure you shake bottle before using each time .. Hope this helps tmrc_emoticons.)
