Recipe's preparation

    soup
  1. (I love the original recipe, but instead of using the green lentils I use red lentils because you don't need to pre-soak/pre-cook them, which means I can add them into the jug with the other veggies.)

  2. Add onion and garlic, chop 3 sec/speed 5.

    Scrape down sides of bowl.

Add a few drops of oil and one of the sliced chorizo and cook 5mins/Varoma/rev/speed 2.

Add veggies, lentils, mushrooms, stock, tomato paste, and water. Cook for 30mins/100deg/rev/speed 2 until veggies are tender.

  3. Pan fry the other chorizo and serve on top.

FIVE STARS for taste and flavour this was delicious!! it kinda reminded me of pea and ham soup. so if you love pea and ham you'll be sure to love this one.

I put my spinach in my servo bowl and poured the soup over the top and let it stand for 2 minutes, served with crunchy garlic bread and all I can say is YUM! will be a regular soup from now on.

Thanks  Love tmrc_emoticons.;) tmrc_emoticons.;) Big Smile

2 reviews - 1 for direction and one for end result.

Direction's - was not very good. I thought the thermo mix was ment to do the chopping e.t.c. for you. when following the directions it states to add the vegies e.t.c. but I still have them whole on my chopping board then I have to manually dice these as stated in the ingredients side... I was not happy tmrc_emoticons.( I think this should have been in one of the steps (especially for a NEWBIE).
