Matzoh Balls

  • 375 grams Matzoh Meal
  • 350 grams water
  • 150 grams extra virgin olive oil
  • 6 Eggs.
  • 25 grams flat leaf parsley
  • 1/2 cube boullion, (or Thermomix broth cube)
  • to taste Hot pepper
  • to taste pepper
  • to taste Nutmeg, (optional)

Recipe's preparation

    Matzoh Balls
  1. Closed lid If you can't find matzoh meal, break matsoh into pieces, put into jug and pulse repeatedly until ground, remove from jug.

  2. Put parsley in jug, process for 6 seconds at 6, scrape walls of jug with spatula, process for 3 seconds at 6.

  3. Add water, eggs, oil, and bouliion cube process at 3 1/2 for 30 seconds.

    Add Matzo meal, process at 3 for 1 minute, add hot pepper, pepper and other spices to taste.

     

  4. Counter-clockwise operationblend for 40 seconds at speed 2/3 reverse until blended.

    If the mixture looks to soft, add matzoh meal, if too stiff, add a little water.

    Cover and refrigerate for several hours

  5. Dip your hands in cold water, form into walnut sized balls.

    Place one by one in boiling broth, lower heat, cover, and cook for a half hour or until done.

Tip

If you like the flavor of onions, add a half onion, sliced, with the parsley.
