I use mostly pumpkin (japanese pumpkin is best!) and then any other vegetables that I have in the fridge. It is a very thick soup, if you prefer a thinner consistancy add some more chicken stock or water. Serve with toast/bread rolls and a dollop of sour cream!

*If using japanese pumpkin you do not need to peel the skin, just wash thoroughly.

I wanted to make a bigger batch so used 600ml stock and chucked the veggies straight in without using steam basket. I set the Thermi to Varoma, reverse, speed 1 and cooked it for an extra 8 minutes until the vegetables were soft enough before pureeing as per recipe. This worked well and I will do this again next time. I also added celery in with the onion and garlic as I had it in the fridge and it needed using.
