PumpKin Soup



PumpKin Soup

  • 170 grams onion, peeled and quartered
  • 1000 grams pumpkin, peeled and cubed
  • 100 grams shaved ham smoked
  • 11/2 tbsp chicken stock, continental
  • 1/2-1 level tsp curry powder
  • 1/2-1 heaped teaspoons Cumin Powder
  • to taste salt
  • 65 grams Butter
  • 240 gram full cream milk

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place onion and cubed pumpkin into the bowl Closed lid for 5sec on sp5
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and cook for 30mins sp1-2
  3. Puree-qincrease speed slowly to prevent mixture bubbling up and over.
  4. Once cooked add the butter, milk and salt & pepper, stir until combined and butter has melted
  5. Serve with a dollop of sour cream and a few chopped chives

This recipe relies on the high water content in the pumpkin instead of stock. If soup is too thick, add milk or chicken stock.
