Bliss Balls

  • 200 g almonds
  • 120 g dried prunes, pitted
  • 100 g dried cranberries
  • 40 g raw cacao powder, (or cocoa powder)
  • 30 g Pure Maple Syrup
  • 40 g coconut oil
  • 1/2 tsp allspice
  • 10 g molasses
  • zest of 1 orange, finely grated

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Bliss Balls
  1. Add all ingredients (except for dessicated coconut) into TM bowl and blitz for 1 min / sp 9.

  2. Roll 1 tablespoon amounts of mixture into a ball shape and coat evenly with dessicated coconut.

  3. Allow to 'set'/harden in the refrigerator for one hour prior to serving.

Tip

Alternatively, you could roll these in cocoa or melted chocolate.

    Yum, delicious. I didn't have molasses though but really loved these. Have to have the orange zest I think.
