Balinese Sate Be Siap (Chicken Sate sticks)

Ingredients

  • 300 g chicken mince
  • 10 g Fried shallots
  • 10 g ginger fresh
  • 30 g oil
  • 25 g palm sugar
  • 1 shallot
  • 1 tablespoon Balinese yellow paste
  • 6 pieces Lemon grass
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Recipe's preparation

  1. Combine all ingedients except chicken & lemongrass into bowl, blend 10 seconds, speed 6.

    Add cicken mince & blend to a paste, 10-15 seconds, speed 6.

    Take a large spoon full of mixture, form a flat ball shape around the end of lemongrass stick.

    Grill.

    Serve with rice & greens.

Tip

Instead of using lemongrass, use wooden chop sticks or thick sate sticks.

this is also nice steamed in varoma as meatballs
