  • a handful of fresh basil
  • a handful of fresh coriander
  • 3 tablespoons red curry paste, from a jar or make your own
  • 600 g beef steak, cubed
  • 1 onion
  • 30 g oil
  • 400 g tin of coconut milk
  • 30 g sherry
  • 100 g snow peas
  • 100 g Brocolli or brocollini, roughly chopped
  • rice, to serve

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place beef and curry paste in a medium bowl. Stir to coat beef thoroughly. Marinade for 1 hour.

  2. Place basil and coriander in TM bowl and chop 5 seconds speed 7. Set aside. No need to rinse bowl.

  3. Place onion in TM bowl and chop 5 seconds speed 5. Scrape down sides. Add oil and saute for 3 min Varoma Counter-clockwise operation speed Gentle stir setting.

  4. Add beef and cook 5-6 min Varoma Counter-clockwise operation speed Gentle stir setting.

  5. Add coconut milk, sherry, snow peas, brocolli and the herbs and cook for a further 6 min Varoma Counter-clockwise operation speed Gentle stir setting. Serve immediately with rice or transfer to thermoserver to keep warm while you cook the rice.
