Curried Sausages

Curried Sausages

  • 650 g Beef Sausages
  • 1 clove LARGE garlic
  • 1/2 small onion
  • 2 tsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • 1/2 large apple, (Chopped)
  • 1 and 1/2 tbsp cornflour
  • 400ml liquid beef stock
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 60 g frozen peas
  • 28 g sultanas
  • To Season pepper and salt

Mashed potatoes

  • 9 potatoes
  • 2 dashes Milk
  • 2 dashes cream
  • 2 heaped tbsp Butter
  • Season Salt and pepper

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1.Boil water in a pot on the stove.

    2.when boiled place sausages in water and cook for 15 minutes.

    3.when cooked place on chopping board and cut a thumb wide, when done sit a side.

  3. 4. Add garlic and onion to TM bowl and chop for 3 secs on speed 6 (if onion is still chunky do it for another 3 secs on speed 6)

    5. Add butter and curry powder to bowl and saute for 6 minutes- varoma temperature gentle stir setting Gentle stir setting

    6. Add apple and saute for a further 3 minutes, Varoma temperature, speed 1 reverseCounter-clockwise operation

    7. Add cornflour, Beef stock and ketchup and cook for 5 minutes- -100 degrees,speed 1 reverse Counter-clockwise operation

    8. Add cut sausages, Peas, sultanas and salt and pepper to bowl. Scrape down bowl to mix through. Cook for 3 minutes- 100°C, reverseCounter-clockwise operation gentle stir settingGentle stir setting. Scrape bowl down and repeat for another 3 minutes.
  4. Mashed potatoes
  5. 9. Boil pot on stove.

    10. Peel potatoes and cut into squares.

    11. Place in pot and cook for 12 minutes ( if still a little raw cook for another 5 minutes)

    12. Drain potatoes and put back in to pot.

    13. Put milk, cream, butter and salt and pepper.

    14. Mash till smooth, serve with curry

Depending on your taste you might need a bit more curry powder

I suggest to make potatoes while cooking sausages it saves time so your not cooking it after your finished the curry and waiting for the potatoes to finish
