Jen's Bolognaise

1 large onion, (or 2 small)
3 cloves garlic
2 Green Chillies, Seeds Removed
1 red capsicum
20 g olive oil
500 g Beef mince
1 can Ardmona Tomatoes, Crushed
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon TM Chicken Stock Paste, I like Skinnymixers one. You could use TM veg stock paste instead
60 g water
1 teaspoon Dried Mixed Italian Herbs/Seasoning, Use fresh if you prefer

  If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
  For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
  
  Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

Cut veg into rough chunks and chop in thermomix, 5 sec sp 4. Chop longer if you prefer hidden veg.

Scrape down the sides of the bowl, add olive oil and sautee 2 mins 30 sec, 120 degrees sp 1.

Add beef mince and brown 5 mins, 100 degrees, soft speed reverse.

Break up mince a little with the spatula if required, add remaining ingredients and place the simmering basket on top of the lid instead of the measuring cup. Cook 20 mins, 100 degrees, soft speed reverse.

Serve with grated parmesan cheese, spaghetti and warm garlic bread !
