Meatloaf

  • 750 grams lean minced beef, Or mince you own
  • 125 grams Sausage Mince
  • 225 grams Milk of choice
  • 2 level tablespoons Sweet chilli sauce
  • 3 pieces frozen bread, Broken up
  • 4-5 leaves sage, fresh, Chopped
  • 100 grams blue cheese, Crumbled
  • 1 level tbsp TM stock concentrate
  • Freshly cracked black pepper, or to taste
  • 2 eggs
  • Half level teaspoon mustard powder

Sauce topping

  • 1 onion, Chopped roughly
  • Half red capsicum, Chopped roughly
  • 30 grams Butter Cubed
  • 1 clove garlic peeled
  • 2 tablespoons Sweet chilli sauce
  • 2 tablespoons water

Recipe's preparation

    Meat loaf
  1. Pulse frozen bread until fine. Should have 2 cups. Add all ingredients to bowl and combine on speed 3-4 with the help of the spatula for approx 20 seconds. Try not to over mix as it will toughen. Press into a greased loaf tin and bake 115 minutes 185 degrees.

  2. Heat butter in TM bowl, add onion and capsicum and pulse 2 seconds. Scrape down sides and cook on varoma temp for four minutes speed 3.  Add chilli sauce and water and cook until thickened approx 5 minutes same settings. Spread mixture over meat loaf and bake for another 15 minutes. Turn out and serve hot or cold.
