- ½ cup breadcrumbs or 5 small European Cruskits (friganies)
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp salt
- pepper, to taste
- 50 ml dry white wine
- 50 g olive oil
- 500 g Beef mince
- 300 g medium grain rice
Sauce
- 50 g olive oil
- 400 g fresh tomatoes or 1 can peeled tomatoes
- 50 ml dry white wine
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- Salt and pepper, to taste

Recipe's preparation
Place breadcrumbs, garlic, cumin, salt and pepper into the TM bowl and chop for 20 seconds on speed 8 until combined. Turn down to speed 1 and add mince little by little through opening of lid. Finally add the wine and oil and mix for a few more seconds.
Shape beef patties in a small sausage shape about 3cm wide by 5cm in length and place into Varoma.
Place all sauce ingredients into TM bowl and chop for 20 seconds on speed 6. Add enough water to reach the 1 litre mark on the bowl.
Put the rice into the rice basket and rinse. Place basket into bowl and set Varoma into position. Cook for 40 minutes at 100ºC on speed 4. Empty meat patties onto plate and pour sauce on top with rice on side.
