If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
chop garlic, spring onions & parsley 5 sec/sp 7. Scrape down bowl, repeat
Add chickpeas, spices, flour & salt and mix 15-20 sec/sp 6 or until finely chopped and combined.
Divide mixture into 8 portions and shape into patties.
Refrigerate for 1 hour to firm up.
Shallow fry in oil of choice for 2 minutes each side.
Serve with pita bread, salad and whatever condiment (hummus eg)
