Is it two cans of kidney beans? Or a total of 400g?

  • I have made this many times

    Submitted by Lillo on 1. September 2014 - 11:01.

I have made this many times now and love the depth of flavour of the dish. It is a dead set winner and must be tried! I slightly modify the recipe however as my husband is on a strict SCD diet. I used ECB vegetable stock paste instead of tomato paste and honey instead of molasses. Soak and cook dark red kidney beans before adding instead of canned beans as well, otherwise needs no modification...as is a great dish and gets the thumbs up!!

  • Made this today. I used

Submitted by Wendy Farrelly on 3. April 2014 - 14:00.

Made this today. I used Pomegrenate Molasses as I didn't have plain molasses, which would have given it a different flavour. However, the flavour was nice and I will try it on plain molasses next time. I also cook my red kidney beans instead of canned beans and used a little less oil. I enjoyed this recipe, Thanks.
