Basil Peanut Pesto

Ingredients

1 jar(s)

Pesto

  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 40 g peanuts, Unsalted
  • 10 g walnuts
  • 40 g parmesan
  • 1 bunch basil, Leaves (or 2 loose cups)
  • 1 to 2 tablespoon lime juice, To Taste
  • --- extra virgin olive oil, Add more or less as desired

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Add garlic to TM Bowl. Chop 3 seconds/Speed 7. 

  2. 2. Add Peanuts, Walnuts and Parmesan. Chop 5 seconds/Speed 8 with MC. Scrape down with spatula.

  3. 3. Add Basil, turbo with MC until basil is chopped and mixed in.

  4. 4. Add Lime Juice. Mix with MC while slowly adding oil until desired consistency reached.

Tip

Freeze into ice cube trays and thaw as needed. Makes about 1.5 cups of pesto. Very flexible recipe and can use mixed nuts too. Also, you may like to add flat leaf parsley or use lemon juice instead.
