Caper with Lemon Aioli

  • 1 garlic cloves
  • 3 pieces Lemon peel, No Pith
  • 10 piece pickled capers, Drained
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp white wine vinegar
  • 250 g Grapeseed Oil
  • 1 pinches Sea salt, Ground, to taste
  • 125 g parsley
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1-2 teaspoons lemon juice, to taste

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Ingredients
  1. Place garlic and lemon peel, parsley into mixing bowl and chop 10sec/sp8.
    Scape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula. Repeat chopping.
  2. Add capers, egg yolks, Dijon Mustard and lemon juice and mix 30sec/sp4.
    Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula.
  3. Insert MC. Mix speed4 slowly pouring oil onto mixing bowl lid, let it drizzle through measuring cup into bowl until emulsify.
    Approx 2-3 min.
  4. Season with salt to taste then mix 1-2sec/sp 4.

  5. Transfer into container and refrigerate until ready to use.
  6. Garnish with Dill

    Lemon Juice 1-2 tsp....I've increased it to juice of 1/2 lemon. I love it tangy.
