  • 500 g mushrooms, the bigger they are, the meaty they taste
  • 60 g Butter, make your own!
  • 2 sprigs Thyme, leaves only, can use dried
  • 2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 orange zest

    Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. brush dirt off mushrooms. Chop in 3 batches, turbo for half second.

  2. Add 60g butter, thyme, salt and pepper. cook 6 mins / sp 1 /90oC.

  3. Add orange zest and port. cook for further 1 min / sp 1 / 100oC. Add more salt if required.

  4. Blend 1 min / sp 7. place in ramekins, allow ot cool and serve.
