      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

    Sambal Oelek
  1. 1. Chop chilli, garlic, ginger and lemongrass 30secs/Sp 7, using spatula to get everything moving.

  2. 2. Turn speed down to 4 and slowly add vinegar. Continue stirring for 1min/Sp 4

  3. Cook 5mins/100 degrees/Sp 1

  4. Add sugar, salt, lime zest and juice. Cook 5mins/80 degrees/Sp 1

  5. Pour into sterile jars and store in the fridge
