  • 600g g sugar, raw or white
  • 15 g Jam setta with pectin

Recipe's preparation

    Strawberry Jam
  1. Place all ingredients into thermomix bowl

  2. Cook for 60 minutes, 100degrees, speed 1, Counter-clockwise operation, MC off

  3. Check jam is set, then pour hot jam into jars and seal - see tips

Tip

To check jam is set

Place a couple of saucers into the freezer, place half a teaspoon full of jam onto a cold saucer. If the jam wrinkles when pushed it is set. If you think it needs longer keep cooking at 100degrees and checking for set every 10 minutes.

To sterilize jars

Jars can be sterilized in the dishwasher. Remove from dishwasher just before you pour the jam.

    Great recipe, I have used many times! I like a runnier jam so usually use 10g pectin.

    I've had strawberrys sitting in my freezer for months waiting to be used.This was my first go at jam and it was a huge success! I used 380g sugar and 380g frozen strawberrys with 10g pectin.
