Thermo Papa's Spinach "Monsta" Pasta Sauce

Thermo Papa's Monsta Pasta Sauce

  • 1 brown onion, cut into quarters
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 40 g olive oil
  • 100 g frozen spinach leaves
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable stock paste
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg
  • 50 g water
  • 50 g cream
  • 50 g cream cheese

      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

    Spinach "Monsta" Pasta Sauce!
  1. Place onion, garlic and olive oil into mixing bowl and chop 5 secs/speed 5
  2. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula then saute 3 mins/100 degC/speed 2
  3. Add frozen spinach, veg stock paste, black pepper, nutmeg and water then cook 5 mins/100 degC/speed 2
  4. Add cream and cream cheese then cook 5 mins/100 degC/speed 2
  5. Blend 1 min/speed 9 then
  6. Serve with your favourite type of pasta.
