6 spring onions, roots and greens removed
3 cloves garlic
2 cm ginger knob
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 --- carrots, shaved
300 grams Chicken Thigh meat
1.6 litres water
5 grams Dried Shitake Mushrooms
3 tablespoons chicken stock paste
200 grams brocolli florets
2 tablespoons soy sauce
4 portions instant noodles, broken into quarters

  If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
  For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
  
  Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

We first tasted this noodle soup at a friend's in Brooklyn

Place chicen pieces into mixing bowl and chop 4 sec/speed7. Transfer into a bowl and set aside.

Place garlic, spring onions, and ginger into mixing bowl and chop 3sec/speed7

Add sesame oil and saute 3 minutes/100 degrees/speed 1.

Add chicken, water, mushrooms, chicken stock paste and carrots and cook 20 minutes/100 degrees/"Counter-clockwise operation" speed1

Add brocolli and soy sauce and cook 3 minutes/100 degrees/"Counter-clockwise operation" speed1

Add instant noodles and cook 2 minutes/100 degrees/"Counter-clockwise operation" speed1

Transfer to bowls and serve with coriander garnish
