      Recipe is created for
      TM 6
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 180c f/f. Grease and line 24cm round cake tin
    2. Add all the ingredients except for the jam into the TM Mixing bowl. 150g Self Raising Flour, 110g sugar,60g unsalted butter, 1 egg and Mix 30 sec/speed 5.
3.Empty the cake batter into the prepared cake tin and spread evenly on the bottom of the pan. Top the cake layer with the fig and ginger jam and set asaide.
    4. Repeat step 2. to make another batch of the cake batter and when done spread evenly on top of the jam filling. Decorate the top of the cake with extra fig slices .
    5. Place the cake tin into the preheated oven at 180c f/f and bake for 30 min or until browned on top and cooked.
    6. Take the cake tin out the oven, let the cake let it stay in the tin for 15 min then take out place on wire rack until completely cool, than cut and serve
Ps. I usualy make my own Fig and Ginger Jam but you can use a jam of your choice.
