      Recipe is created for
      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

OMG, why haven't I made this bread before. We just love it. Can some one tell me how they clean the bowl. 10 minutes to make the dough. 22 minutes to clean the bowl. There must be a easier way than what I am doing. Again, great bread and thanks for posting.

Fantastic bread !! Served with hot soup for tea . Perfect . I let it prove for about 2 hours and it rose beautifully and formed a hard crust . Such a crispy crunchy crust when baked . Best home made bread ever.😄

I left it on paper in a pan for approx 1.5 hrs until doubled in size, (do a finger test by pressing on surface to see if the dough rises backup, this is when it's ready to cook)
I started at 4.45pm and it came out of oven at 7.15pm, So 2.5 hours total.
    Good luck, its gorgeous.....

  • 00 flour is heavy grade flour

    Submitted by Perizahd on 16. October 2015 - 22:31.

00 flour is heavy grade flour used for pasta and bread, bakers flour gives a really nice result. You can use plain flour if 00 is not accessible, result won't be as rustic. Hope that helps tmrc_emoticons.;)
