Donna Hay Cauliflower Mac n Cheese

  • 1 Cauliflowerr (small ), broken into florets

  • 400 grams Milk
  • 100 g Parmesan cheese, cut into small cubes
  • 2-3 slice sourdough, frozen
  • 1-2 cloves garlic
  • 50 g Butter
  • 200 g Macaroni Pasta

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid.       If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

    Method.
  1. 1. Preheat oven to 200 degree C.

    2. Cook macaroni on stovetop or thermoserver ( Thermofun method )

    3. Break bread into pieces and add to mixing bowl with cubed
    cheeses. Chop for 10 seconds, speed 7. Set aside.

    4.Add Cauliflower( 500 to 700 g) to mixing bowl( broken into florets ) .Blitz at 5 seconds , speed 5 .

    5.Add milk to bowl and Cook for 10 mins, 90 degrees , speed 1.

    6. Add butter & Blend for 5 seconds and speed 5 .. or longer if finer consistency preferred. Season with salt and pepper

    7.Add cooked pasta to casserole dish and stir though cauliflower mixture half of cheese mixture. Sprinkle other half of crumns on top and add chopped cooked bacon i( optional) .

    8.Cook in oven for 10 - 15mins until golden and crunchy.
