Recipe's preparation

    INGREDIENTS
  1. 280g Dates

    30g Almonds

    30g Walnuts

    200g water

    400 raw sugar

    10 whole  cloves

    3 tblsps lemon juice

     

     

  2. Chop dates speed 9  for 10 secs set aside

    Chop nuts speed 9 for 4 secsset aside.

    Put water sugar and cloves in bowl cook 5 mins 100  degrees  speed 3 with MC off.

    Add dates cook a further 5 mins 100 degrees speed 1

    Add lemon juice and nuts cook a further 5 mins 100  degrees speed1.

    Blend on speed 6 for 30 seconds.

    Pour into sterilized jars

    This is lovely in a  shortbread roll, just make a batch of shortbread spread out onto thermomat dusted with some extra rice flour, cut into 2 halves  spoon date jam on top and fold over

     into log shape. Cut into pieces and bake in oven as per shortbread recipe.
